Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our sales and administrative operations at our Lweza Branch.
The ideal candidate must have experience with data entry, customer service, sales support, and proficiency in QuickBooks. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and supporting the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare quotations, sales orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
Enter and maintain accurate customer, sales, and inventory data in QuickBooks.
Record customer payments and reconcile transactions.
Assist customers with product inquiries and order processing.
Maintain organized filing systems for sales and financial records.
Monitor inventory records and report stock discrepancies.
Generate sales reports and assist management with administrative tasks.
Follow up on customer orders and outstanding payments.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in sales administration, accounting, or data entry.
Proficiency in QuickBooks is mandatory.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the construction, manufacturing, or building materials industry.
Knowledge of inventory management and sales reporting.
