Not every service call ends with an electrical repair.

We received an emergency call for loss of hot water. Due to prior commitments, we weren’t able to make it out Friday evening, but we made sure to be there first thing Saturday morning. While we can’t always respond immediately, we do our best to get to our customers as quickly as possible when someone is available.

After troubleshooting, diagnostics confirmed the electrical system was operating properly. The issue ended up being a gas water heater with the pilot out and standing water trapped inside the exterior enclosure. After draining the enclosure and relighting the pilot, hot water was restored.

The customer happened to be a teacher’s aide from my kindergarten class. She recognized me as soon as I said hello. Small town life — community matters.

Could we have told her to call a plumber and pay another service call just to relight the pilot? Sure. But that’s not how we operate.

⚠️ What you can’t see can hurt you.

This customer called us with concerns about electrical issues. Using thermal imaging, we were able to identify overheating components inside the electrical system before they became a much bigger problem.

The first images/video show the system BEFORE repairs.The follow-up thermal images show the system AFTER repairs and load balancing were completed.

That’s the value of proper diagnostics and experienced troubleshooting.

Electrical problems don’t always announce themselves with smoke or sparks.
Sometimes it’s:
