My story
When I was a young boy, I decided that I wanted to cut grass. When I would see other people cutting grass in the neighborhood, it always brought me pleasure watching them use the big lawn mowers, so I decided to start cutting the grass at my own house to help my parents. One of the neighbors thought my skills were good, so he asked me to start cutting his lawn.
About seven years later, I started running my own lawn service, and I enjoyed every minute. This business allowed me to earn extra money during high school and college, and it made me realize the passion I have for lawn work. It was a sad day when I decided to sell the business in 2012 after graduating from college. From that moment on, I never found the happiness that cutting grass brought me, so I decided to start my passion once more. This is truly something I love to do, and I am hoping that my business will once again become a successful endeavor.
This business has taught me many values because of the determination one must have to succeed. Even though life has considerably changed, I still hold onto the same values I had when I first started cutting grass, which are to be trustworthy, honest, and kind. I thank you for reading my short story, and I hope to have you as a part of my family.
