Amongst our busy lives, it is important to remember and honor our Service Members that sacrificed for our country.

This is not a time to bring politics into this. This is a day, although should be everyday, to never forgot that while our country is far from perfect it is still our beautiful homeland that is ours because many men and women lost their lives protecting the freedom that yes, we absolutely have.

While you enjoy this three day weekend, the blood of warriors was shed to make it possible. Many cannot comprehend what they experienced, expiring in a land that was not theirs so that we, the American people, can live under the blanket of security.

For the Gold Star families: we will not forget their valor. To the memory of our servicemen and servicewoman: thank you from a grateful nation. We will NOT forget you.

Oh you know, just hanging out on a diving board watching a pool pump do what it do. Maaaaay or may not have gotten a little too comfortable and tried to take a nap (I really was watching the pump, even if it didn't look like it). It's called "working", look it up. 😆

When you've served in the military, you can take a nap ANYWHERE. (Compliments of the incredibly low-budget stuff they give you). Thank you, Army. My personal standards are lowered.

Saturday May 9th we will be at the TLCA Spring Vendors Market on State Street (where the old YMCA used to be). Come on out from 11am to 3pm. We would love to say hi and discuss those projects that you need done!

There's some baked goods, homemade items, and other items out here. Already got some permanent jewelry from my booth neighbor!
