Luis Bustamante is the President and Ernesto Bustamante is the Vice President of L&E Bustamante Concrete Co., Inc., a family-owned and operated concrete construction business specializing in poured wall foundations and flatwork. After obtaining several years of hands-on work experience in concrete construction, Luis and Ernesto established L&E Bustamante Concrete Co., Inc. In 19
90, L&E began contracting flatwork projects with Ryan Homes in new home communities throughout the Baltimore area. In 1996, L&E was granted "The Most Valuable Subcontractor Award" by Ryan Homes. Also in 1996, Gemcraft Homes hired L&E Bustamante as a concrete contractor for their residential developments in Northern Baltimore, and later expanded to their Lower and Eastern shore and Western Maryland and Pennsylvania markets. In 1997, L&E purchased their first set of wall forms and added poured wall foundations to their business. In 2001, L&E contributed to the construction of the Lyn Stacie Getz Emmorton Creative Playground in Bel Air, Maryland and in 2005, the Annie's Playground in Fallston, Maryland. In 2004, a satellite office in Georgetown, Delaware was opened and at the time, L&E worked simultaneously in over 60 new home developments in the Baltimore, Harford and Cecil counties of Maryland, various counties and townships in Pennsylvania, the Lower and Eastern Shore area of Delaware and Maryland and in Western Maryland and Pennsylvania. In 2005, L&E was granted the “American Dream Award” by the Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Baltimore, Maryland, for its success and accomplishments as a minority-owned business. In December 2012, L&E was unanimously nominated and earned the title of “Subcontractor of the 4th Quarter” by Ryan Homes. In 2015, L&E contributed to the construction of the baseball field dugouts at Patterson Mill High School in Bel Air, Maryland. Presently, L&E continues its work as one of the primary concrete contractors in Baltimore, Cecil and Harford counties and works with national and regional homebuilders such as, NVR, Inc./Ryan Homes, Richmond American, D.R. Horton, Evergreene Homes, Ameri-Star Homes, and LC Homes Delaware, Inc., as well as small local homebuilders and private homeowners.
