Recently, we were called out to a newly remodeled home experiencing repeated drain clogs. Upon inspection, we found multiple installation issues — including improperly oriented tees against the direction of flow, venting placed too far from fixtures, and vent lines that were not properly sized for the required DFU load.

Due to these deficiencies, a complete drain line replumb was necessary to correct the system and ensure proper function.

This is a reminder to always verify that the professionals you hire are properly licensed for the specific work being performed. “Licensed and insured” doesn’t always mean they are qualified in the trade you’re hiring them for.

Quality work matters — especially when it comes to your home’s plumbing.
