If you do nothing else in terms of maintenance,,please please please PLEASE check your carbon monoxide detectors Make sure the batteries are working and hit the test button. If you don't have a car monoxide detector in your house near your furnace upstairs in your living space then for God's sake get one. With this weather in the past few days several people have been killed--killed--in their homes due to carbon monoxide. This can happen from a faulty furnace a blocked exhaust. In one case an entire family was found dead due to CO carbon monoxide will incapacitate you in seconds and kill you in minutes it's a silent killer. Please folks check your carbon monoxide detector s if you don't have them get some put in they are cheap. thank you

New furnaces are more expensive than ever ...take care of your investment.
Trust me you don't want to change a furnace in January.....
Check the batteries in your thermostat and change your air filter.
Thermostat batteries are the number one cause of heat failure that leads to frozen pipes.
Restricted filters cause blower motors to run hot and fail ( at the worst time)
A little basic maintenance can keep your system humming along.

And if I had done something like this right on the street where everybody and their brother could see it I'd at least put a fence up or plan a few more bushes talk about a service call generator

I think they got every last bit of use out of this one.....check your washing machine hoses, I'd just replace them annua...
