We watch blooms open for a million reasons! Part of it is timing the blooms, part of it is just habit, the changes that occurred through the season.. you name it the truth is I learn the most taking pictures every morning. These may seem simple or even redundant but come winter I can scroll the phone and identify more patterns than what I can see now. But for next week it’s photos like this that give me a start to finish outline of a bloom and aids in preparation for the national show!

Sunshine and blooms in the morning!

We went unconventional and made a seedling bed for literally the survival of the fittest seeds! I know many do trays and germinate but this year things are no fuss.. it’s pour and water and pray for 2027 graduates to have nice blooms! Even our variety specific gathered seeds went into the big container and poured in! Here is an update showing it’s working just fine.

Can you see the bloom up there? I’m short but this has got to be 10 ft up! Moonlight Romantica is a beast of a climber. We usually train these but I’m allergic to ladders and heights!

Went to the store for gas for our super stylish flame thrower gun.. you get a lot of looks when you walk into Lowe’s with this big thing hanging out your purse.. but twice as many smiles when you pay with a magic wand!
