It's a big moment for Michigan Milk and our DVCC team — Michigan Milk Producers Association 's Remus facility is in production making Cottage Cheese! Since July 2025, our team has worked to transform this 1880s structure into a state-of-the-art cottage cheese production plant. At the project's peak, we managed over 160 skilled tradespeople in a very tight site, meaning good communication, collaboration and solid leadership were key. Once fully operational, this facility will process approximately 1 million pounds of milk per day, and support dozens of new jobs. That's an impact to be proud of —and one more way we're committed to Building for Life.
