October was a busy and exciting month at Boadie L. Anderson Quarries, with a major highlight being our role as the host site for the SMBA Fall Workshop (Oct 18-19). We are grateful to SMBA and their leadership team for this incredible opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of our industry.
The event kicked off on Friday with plant tours, offering attendees an up-close look at our operations. The evening featured drinks, food, and great conversations, allowing participants to network and connect. Saturday wrapped up the workshop with valuable insights and takeaways.
Attendees from eight different states (Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Texas) gathered to share knowledge and learn from each other. By the end of the workshop, everyone left with practical tools and fresh perspectives to take back to their own businesses. One participant shared, "This workshop has given me some tools for a better business."
We are proud to have hosted such a productive event and look forward to continuing our support of the industry.
