🔥❄️ **FULL TWO-SYSTEM HVAC REPLACEMENT IN ADDISON, IL**

This wasn’t just one furnace and one air conditioner.

This Addison homeowner had **TWO complete HVAC systems replaced** — one serving the basement/downstairs area and one serving the upstairs.

That means:

✅ 2 new furnaces
✅ 2 new air conditioners
✅ 2 new evaporator coils
✅ 2 Ecobee thermostats
✅ 2 outdoor equipment pads
✅ 2 wet safety switches
✅ New refrigerant lines
✅ Electrical upgrades
✅ Airflow improvements
✅ New filtration
✅ Whole-home humidification upstairs

Our team at **A Perfect Climate Inc.** removed the existing furnaces and air conditioners, properly recovered the old refrigerant, and hauled the old equipment away for recycling.

Then the real installation work began.

For both systems, we installed the new furnaces, air conditioners, and evaporator coils in the existing equipment locations.

⚡ We replaced the required circuit breakers, electrical whips, outdoor disconnects, and equipment pads.

❄️ New refrigerant lines were installed — approximately **25 feet for the downstairs system and 50 feet for the upstairs system.**

And here’s one of the details homeowners don’t always see:

Before startup, the new refrigerant lines were **pressure-tested with nitrogen to check for leaks**, then evacuated down to approximately **500 microns** before commissioning the systems.

Because even brand-new HVAC equipment can struggle if the airflow isn’t right.

Sometimes improving comfort means fixing the **airflow around the equipment**, not just replacing the equipment itself.

The upstairs system received:

✅ New furnace riser/filter cabinet
✅ Flexible ductwork tightened and repositioned for improved airflow
✅ Ecobee thermostat with room sensor
✅ Wet safety switch
✅ **Aprilaire 500 whole-home humidifier**

The Ecobee room sensors help give the homeowner better temperature awareness and control throughout the home.

The Aprilaire humidifier adds moisture during our dry Chicagoland heating season, helping improve indoor comfort during winter.

Once everything was connected, our technicians completed the startup process and tested both systems for proper operation.

COMMERCIAL HVAC REPAIR IN SCHAUMBURG, IL | JOB #7662**

When a commercial rooftop HVAC system isn’t working properly, the goal isn’t just to replace a part — it’s to **find the problem, make the right repair, and prove the system is working before we leave.**

Our **A Perfect Climate Inc.** technician returned to this Schaumburg property to complete repairs on the office rooftop unit.

✅ Installed a new 3-phase non-fusible disconnect
✅ Installed a new electrical whip
✅ Replaced high-voltage wiring and protective conduit
✅ Ran new thermostat wire from the rooftop unit to the office thermostat
