Taco bout’ a fiesta! Our annual Cinco de Mayo celebration ensured everyone was well-fed—no food was left over! We featured a food truck from the Food Truck League, serving an assortment of tacos and sides, along with chips, dips, and tres leches cake to complete the feast.

Although the women's basketball tournament dominated ratings everywhere, our women dominated the top two spots and came in 1st and 2nd place for our HEDK March Madness Bracket for the men's basketball tournament! Amanda Bergstedt & Sabrina Luengo came in 1st and 2nd place! Congratulations ladies! Amanda, who came in 1st place, got her name engraved on the coveted HEDK March Madness trophy. Who won in your office?

It was TOTALLY magical what we witnessed last week during those 4 minutes of watching the moon completely cover the sun during the Total Solar Eclipse! Everyone took a break and came together to watch it happen and it was quite an experience. We had moon pies, certified glasses, and HEDK stickers to celebrate the special event!

Whether you celebrate Valentine's Day or not, who doesn't love candy?! Yesterday for Valentine's Day, the Booster Committee had an HEDK-themed Candy Bar as well as personalized Valentine's Day cards for each of the employees. Each type of candy was named with puns to make it a little more interesting! A special touch to show our employees & Partners how much they are app"HERSHEY"ated for all their hard work is always a priority! :)

We all felt extra full yesterday on ‘Fat Tuesday’! The HEDK Booster Committee put together our annual Mardi Gras potluck and had food catered – the more food, the better! Lunch included mini blackened shrimp guacamole tostadas, blackened catfish, Cajun shrimp over smoked gouda grits, salad, biscuits, king cake, themed cake pops & plenty more! We also had a Mardi Gras-themed scratch-off bingo card and the winner received a gift card! It is always a good time to bring everyone together! We hope you all had a wonderful Mardi Gras!

It was an unpredictable NFL season! Fantasy Football leagues were falling apart everywhere, but at HEDK, we had a two-time winner! Congratulations to Jose Rivera for coming in 1st place! He received a ton of goodies, but most importantly, bragging rights for the next year! Coming in second place was Mark Hill and third place was Cornelius Washington. And, last place, was Danny Ficarra. He received the shirt, pictured below. All in good fun! Any guesses on who will make it to the Super Bowl?

‘Tis the season to be jolly, and this year, our annual Holiday Party went all in on the festive spirit with a dazzling Casino Night theme. As colleagues and friends gathered at Rooftop Event Spot on 12/9/23, the air was filled with excitement and the promise of a night filled with laughter, luck, and holiday cheer.
