Want to shine some light on the crew here as the mowing season winds down and we start focusing on clean ups and snow removal. It was a long mowing season with all of the rain. Both of these guys showed up every day with a great attitude and drive. We are all proud to have grown up in Adel and try our best to go above and beyond for our amazing customers here in town! I am very proud of what our team has accomplished this season and look forward to what the future brings for us!

I would also like to thank each and every one of our customers for trusting us with their properties and making what we do possible. You all are AWESOME!

Thank you for an amazing 2025 mowing season and we hope to see everyone again come spring (if not before with the coming snowfall)!

Our plan is make it out as quickly as we can, but it is completely whiteout conditions. It is most likely going to be this afternoon after the wind subsides before we are able to accomplish much. We ask for your patience today and to please stay inside! It is not worth attempting to drive in these conditions.

Our crew is out currently working on commercial sites. For our residential customers, we will get to you as quickly as we can, but are planning to hold off to as close to the end of the snow falling as we can. Thank you for understanding. Everyone stay safe and warm!

Safe to say spring is in full blast!

We just want to ask our customers for patience as we try to keep up with all of the growth lawns are experiencing right now. It is great to finally be getting much needed rain, but it does make our work hectic!

Here are some before and after photos of our final mulching job before the mowing season starts next week.

How beautiful is that?!

Proper mulch maintenance is very important. Over time, mulch breaks down into organic matter/topsoil. This is why we don’t put fabric underneath our mulch as it will naturally allow w**d seeds to germinate as the mulch decomposes. At least once a season it is important to rake around your old mulch. This helps to break up any crust layer that has formed, causing the water to run off and away from your plants. It also helps bring new life back to the color of your mulch. It is also important to remove some of the old mulch if it is getting too deep as this can also cause issues to your plants and their roots.

We prefer natural edges to our mulch beds as seen in these photos. We are able to maintain these throughout the season with our normal mowing service after they are established. Edger blocks are also a popular option.

Mulch madness has been going strong and keeping us busy! We are trying to get everything freshened up before the grass starts flying! Mowing is right around the corner with how quickly everything has been greening up. Spring time is our favorite!

We have some room on our mowing route that we would like to fill! We are now offering lawn treatments and aeration/overseeding to our customers!

We are looking for :

-Commercial
-Acreage
-Non-fenced Residential (or min 60” gate)
-Full Service/Year Round Customers

The guys and I got some much needed rest and family time last night and this morning. We will be back out later today to hopefully get this all cleaned up and over with!

Thank you all for the patience in working through this. Please do not go anywhere if you do not absolutely have to! It is a mess everywhere and -20° actual temp.
