A few fun facts: the supply main was found 16' down, always double check your tapping assembly before installing-manufacturers mess up, too, and where there's a will, there's a way! Brand new concrete, new landscaping, 10,000 existing utilities, and a Grand Opening scheduled. We were on time and on grade!

When you've already beat them...join them!😆 In central Iowa, we have earned our reputation as the grade critical boring experts. Not by choice, though. We prefer the 100' watermain jobs most, but when a sanitary bore needs to be done right the first time, we shine with just a knuckle + water level! We were the last boring contractor around without a GBM until last week! This is "boring made easy", "work smarter, not harder" kind of boring, and we're all in! 350' of tube went in perfectly yesterday. We have a great team and bright future here at Midwest Augers!

Spring Break office help! This is the life of a contractor kid. He's doing reconciliations and earning money to build a gaming PC. Work ethic doesn't land in a child's lap. It's something that is built into their up bringing, and taught as a way of life. I think we can all agree that it's becoming a lost trait in our work forces.

Well another day, another rock! Sorry for saying that naughty word in the midst of all you boring people! We're hung up on the edge of it and we're not sure exactly how big it is, but at least 20" oval shaped. It's sitting tight in the hard clay we're drilling. Line and grade critical, so a rock head would push us left. Hoping for approval to blast this one. Stay tuned!🧨
