My client just bought a property and moved back from out of town, but the drive and parking were neglected, with so much dirt in the parking area that it got muddy. 60 tons of rock and the right equipment made it presentable and dry again. One part of a structure that you can never go back and upgrade later is the foundation. My client recently purchased this semi secluded property to build on and phase 1 will be enjoying the rv life until they are ready to build their forever home. I always advise my clients when adding a road entrance to do a full 40ft width, it makes it so much easier to enter from a narrow road with a trailer, trash truck, concrete truck or rv especially at night or in the rain. We built out 200 ft of driveway, and a pad for the 30x70 shop. This property has a lot of slope to it, to avoid having water intrusion, the elevation of the pad needed to be built up. That made the far back corner 3 feet thick, once the concrete pad was all to grade we backfilled around three sides to a 3.5/1 slope. Being a full service site prep provider lets me offer a lot of efficiency, since this property will have a septic evaporation pond, I was able to save my client thousands by using excavation spoils from that pond for his backfill instead of having to import hundreds of tons of fill dirt. Over 300 tons of rock in the project so far, built to withstand the rest of time. I’ve added some larger and more capable equipment to the fleet for clearing and heavy dirt work, so please reach out if you need help making the vision you have for your property become reality.
