As we wrap up the year, we’re feeling extra grateful!🎄✨

This project on South Boundary has been a journey. After taking it over last year, 2025 brought its fair share of obstacles. Obstacles that required patience, problem-solving, and more than a few deep breaths. But here we are…officially in the trim phase at Lauren & Stefan’s future dream home, and that milestone hits a little differently!

Through every challenge, we haven’t just been building a house, we’ve been building trust, momentum, and a lasting relationship. This is the kind of project that reminds us why we do what we do.

Thank you to the rest of the Zook team (Jerry Walden and Taylor Buzhardt), our clients (The Plochs, Browns, Holzwarths, and Parrs), our interior designer (Maria Rhinehart, owner of Laurel Leaf Design Studio), our subcontractors, and our community for sticking with us, believing in the process, and rolling with the punches alongside us.

Hard to believe the guy in the blue shirt on the left had just started Zook Construction… no team, no office, just a truck, a toolbox, and a lot of stubborn determination.

And now? The photo on the right is a decade of long days, loyal clients, crazy jobsite stories, friendships made, lessons learned, and a company built with the people who showed up and believed in the vision alongside him!

This milestone isn’t just Noah’s; it belongs to his family, who supported every late night, his friends who cheered him on when things got tough, and the Zook team, along with our subcontractors, who pour their talent into every home we build!

Most of all, it belongs to the homeowners who trusted us with the places they’ll live, grow, retire, gather, and make memories for years to come! You’re the reason this little dream turned into something real.

Noah and April went to a holiday party last night and were greeted by a four-legged celebrity, Uga XI himself!

The party was hosted at his owner’s home, so of course he made an appearance…and stole the show. Only in the South do you walk into a Christmas party and get welcomed by SEC royalty!

Such a fun night and a memorable way to kick off the holidays! 🎄🏈

The Holzwarth's future home in Savannah Lakes made major strides this week. We passed our rough-in inspection on Tuesday, insulation is already going in, and drywall is right around the corner!

The firebox is set, the porch slider is scheduled to be installed tomorrow, the main living areas are fully framed, and the front entry door has its first coat of stain. On top of that, the cooler autumn air rolling in, those lake views through the back of the house are looking even sharper. Every update makes the vision a little clearer! 🏡

Tile work is moving along at Sharen and Archie Brown’s home. Laurel Leaf Design Studio curated the selections, and Chris Johnson’s team has done a great job bringing them to life. 📐

The Blue Grass tile creates a rich, textured wall in one of the baths, while the basket-weave mosaic niche adds detail and depth to the indoor-outdoor shower. Subtle choices, but they make all the difference in these spaces! 🛁

Things are really starting to take shape at South Boundary! 🏰

The Cohen’s team is currently applying closed and open cell foam insulation throughout the house. This step significantly enhances energy efficiency and comfort by creating an airtight seal, regulating temperature year-round, and reducing outside noise.

Big thanks to Cohen’s Spray Foam for handling the install. Next up…drywall! 👏
