Company Background

A Crano Excavating, Inc., was established in 1945 by Anthony F. and Margaret E. Crano in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Many years of hard work, dedication, and honesty have created a successful business reputation and a reliable company name. Upon the passing of Anthony in 1969, the company's operation and success continued with Margaret's unique business mind and continued customer relationships.

Ray Riter (son-in-law) became employed with the company in 1952, and has continued the same work ethics throughout the past 50+ years creating many ongoing relationships. Upon Margaret Crano's passing in 1988, Ray and wife Ruth (Crano) Riter became the owners of the business.

Today, the company has grown with a third generation continuing the same values that started the company 60+ years ago.
