After completing the grinding, repairs, and surface preparation, our team applied a 100% solids, two-component epoxy primer to the concrete floor.

Howmet Aerospace – Surface Preparation in Progress

With the vinyl tile removed, the next step was concrete grinding and detailed surface cleaning. Our team spent the day grinding the floor to create the proper surface profile, remove contaminants, and prepare the concrete for maximum coating adhesion.

Surface preparation is one of the most critical phases of any flooring project. The performance and longevity of the coating system depend on the quality of the work done before the first coat is ever applied.

Another long day of hard work by our crew, bringing this floor one step closer to a durable, high-performance epoxy system.

Howmet Aerospace – Flooring Project Underway

Long days and hard work are what it takes to deliver quality results. Our crew put in a 12-hour shift removing existing vinyl tile as the first step in the installation of a new high-performance epoxy floor system at Howmet Aerospace.

Vinyl tile removal is a labor-intensive process that requires determination and teamwork to properly prepare the concrete for the next phases of the flooring system. We’re proud of our team for their dedication, work ethic, and commitment to getting the job done safely and efficiently.

Project Complete – US Cotton

The final step of this 4,500 sq. ft. flooring project was the application of a high-performance industrial epoxy floor coating system.

Designed to withstand daily industrial abuse, forklift and tow motor traffic, heavy loads, and constant wear, this coating provides a durable, seamless surface built for long-term performance in demanding manufacturing environments.

From surface preparation and repairs to the moisture v***r barrier primer and final epoxy installation, the entire project was successfully completed during a 2-day weekend shutdown on Saturday and Sunday, allowing the facility to resume normal operations on schedule.

Project Update – US Cotton

The first phase of this 4,500 sq. ft. industrial flooring project was completed during a weekend shutdown at US Cotton. Our team enclosed the work area with plastic containment to isolate the workspace and control dust during surface preparation. We then diamond ground the concrete to create the proper surface profile, removed contaminants, repaired expansion joints, cracks, and damaged areas, and thoroughly cleaned the floor in preparation for coating application.

Proper surface preparation is the foundation of a long-lasting floor coating system. Stay tuned for the next phase of the project.

Weekend shutdown project completed at Stolle Machinery in Canton, Ohio.

The work area was fully contained with plastic drapes, floor protection, and negative-pressure air scrubbers. After cleaning and masking all sensitive components, our team applied two coats of high-solids polyurethane to the press for long-lasting protection and a like-new finish.

Completed over the weekend to minimize disruption to plant operations.
