We broke ground on the East San Fernando Valley Light Rail 🚆Transit Project to mark the start of major construction.

The 6.7-mile line will run down the middle of Van Nuys Boulevard with 11 stations, connecting riders to the G Line and the Van Nuys Metrolink/Amtrak station. It will replace rapid bus service on one of the busiest bus corridors in L.A. County, and it will be the first rail on the boulevard since 1952.

We are delivering the project with Skanska as San Fernando Transit Constructors. Thank you to Metro and our partners for getting us here.

We're saying bye to the bridge ramps, but hello to some really cool stuff. Progress continues at Pier B 🏗️...

This is the demolition of Shoemaker Bridge over Interstate 710. Crews are advancing critical infrastructure improvements throughout the corridor. Each phase of work is helping prepare the area for future transportation improvements while supporting the Port of Long Beach’s broader infrastructure modernization efforts.

Think about someone’s first day on a jobsite. New boots, new faces, a lot of questions. Somebody takes the time to answer them.

That moment shapes a career and the people who work next to them. We’ve seen it happen on our projects, and it still means a lot to us.

We build infrastructure for the communities that use it. We hope some of the people who build it come from those same communities.

Amtrak 🚆 awards more than $4.1 million in Community Investment Program (CIP) funding as construction advances on B&P Tunnel Replacement Program.

The funding will go towards 11 West and Central Baltimore organizations to support workforce training, neighborhood improvements, youth programs, historic preservation and other initiatives for the B&P Tunnel Replacement Program.

Two Stacy Witbeck leaders have been selected to serve on the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) Board of Directors: Ryan Snow, SVP Pursuits & Development, and Jennifer Donaldson, VP Operational Controls.

Ryan has been selected to serve a three-year term as one of APTA's Business Member Directors. In this role, he will bring a contractor's perspective to industry conversations around project delivery, innovation, and collaboration.

Jennifer has been selected to serve a one-year term as the Leadership APTA representative to the APTA Board. She will serve as a liaison between the Board and Leadership APTA, helping support the program and its participants while strengthening connections for the next generation of transit industry leaders.

Our recruiting team traveled to Chicago for the American Public Transportation Association's Job Fair where they connected with students from Illinois, Michigan, North Carolina, Seattle, and beyond, sharing opportunities to build a career in an industry that keeps communities moving.
