As the project takes shape, the Omaha Streetcar 🚆 is building momentum.

Crews are nearing completion on the tangent track and pre-curves within the 5.5 mile alignment, marking another major step forward as the project continues to take shape.

With more than 7,000 track feet of concrete poured, each milestone brings the project closer to connecting Omaha's urban core. This progress is made possible through the coordination and craftsmanship of our project partners; Kiewit Corporation and Mass. Electric Construction Co.

Once complete, the streetcar will make it easier for residents and visitors to explore new destinations, supporting greater connectivity and access throughout the city.

We are transforming Omaha, one milestone at a time.

Cost certainty in projects comes from a handful of conversations that happen early, or fail to happen at all, and the difference shows up months later when two sides realize they were never aligned when it came to the cost and pricing. Most of what follows will sound familiar. The hard part isn’t learning it; it’s doing it consistently and trusting the process.

A first for the U.S. is happening in Bluffdale, Utah: Two massive concrete boxes, pushed underneath live railroad tracks.

The result: a brand new four-lane roadway, built in partnership with Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction.

Construction Manager Doug Belsheim walks us through it.

Construction has a way of showing you what you're capable of. Meet Mitch Schwab, Field Engineer.

Every job asks something different of you. For Mitch, that's meant learning from the people around him, taking on more responsibility, and leaving each job a little better than he found it.

Keep learning. Keep building. Keep moving forward.

A title only tells part of the story. We asked our interns one question: If you couldn't use the word intern, how would you describe your role?

The future is being shaped by today's interns. On National Intern Day, we're celebrating their contributions and the perspectives they bring.

Building benches, planters, and a little more confidence: that's a day at the 2026 Future Construction Leaders Camp in the Bay Area.

Guided by Jim Prior, Alvaro Marquez, and Shahrzad Ghorbannia, future leaders explored construction tools, techniques, and career paths — opening doors to the next generation of builders.

🎤 "The best part was seeing a group of first-years finish their planter and immediately want to build another one. That's when you know something clicked." – Natalie Havens, Field/Office Engineer
