Daylight Savings November 5th
What does Daylight Savings have to do with HVAC?
If you have a programmable thermostat, check the display time on November 5th to ensure that the time is correct. Also check that your smoke & carbon monoxide detector batteries are good.
If you don't have a programmable thermostat and are interested in learning how they might save you money, call Larsell Mechanical Service.
If you have a gas appliance, make sure you have a working carbon monoxide detector.

Time for Fall Heating Maintenance!
The weather is turning cooler, and it is time to have your heating system inspected. Heating fuel prices continue to climb, and if you have a furnace, heat pump, or boiler, Larsell Mechanical Heating and Cooling can inspect your system for optimum operational efficiency. Give us a call at 541-926-2321 to have a trained technician verify that your system is operating properly, safely, and as designed.
October is Fire Prevention month, so remember to test and replace your smoke detector batteries, and if you have a gas appliance or gas or wood burning fireplace, be sure you have a Carbon Monoxide detector, and test it monthly.
If you have a programmable thermostat, remember to check the program on November 6th, when Daylight Savings falls back. If you don’t have a programmable thermostat and are interested in having one installed, Larsell Mechanical Heating and Cooling can install one for you.
