Befores and Afters; We were called in by new owners to refresh this front yard after they ripped out some unruly/overgrown trees and shrubs. The remnants of a nice design were already there, it just needed some TLC. We chose plants that would give some color variety and contrast to the bark and dry river.

Before and after of a larger project we just finished up last week. We started it back in early December and Oregon winter weather and other things delayed it a bit. We think the end result was worth the wait though. Loving the natural Tuscan stair treads and flagstone pathway. The front yard is prepped for phase 2 later this year which includes a dry river and plants.



The fence and outer retaining wall were already there so we installed the paver patio as close to the fence as possible ...

The fence and outer retaining wall were already there so we installed the paver patio as close to the fence as possible to help make it look like it was all done at the same time. The embedded rotunda adds a nice visual touch to the patio and the step down will eventually be expanded later.

One of our shelties, Jasper, rides along most days and has become our cutest landscaper. Here he is inspecting this leaf pile on maintenance day and you may see him on job sites occasionally. Jasper suffers from permanent disabilities from an accident when he was a puppy. He is very unique and special; his vision, hearing, and mobility were affected and he runs in clockwise circles. Don’t be sad though, he is a happy, energetic, and determined little guy and inspires all of us each day to live our best lives.
