Team Ultimate Edge and Team Masterbuilt Surfaces layed down a great 24k Sq Ft slab this week, despite some big challenges. No entry from the back so rider trowels were pre-hung from chain hoists, lots of pipes and columns, Late concrete, slow service, concrete pump main hydraulic pump failure mid pour (Hoosier Concrete Pumping did a fantastic job and had another pump there and running within 30 minutes, screed busted a hydraulic line…. Adrenaline packed day with rain coming at 1-2pm, so we juiced it up on a 70 degree day with 1%NCA and 1/2%CCA. 220 yards, placed and finished, sealed and saw cut in 7 hours and 15 minutes, and the rain started within 10 minutes after sweeping the last of the dust off the slab 🥵 Glad for our amazing team! Big thanks to Falcon Ready Mix for the great service, the pump never stopped til the last 20 yards when the trucks needed just a bit more mix time 👊🏼
