This job was done in 2 phases. First phase was planting of over 50 perennials, trees, and shrubs. Second phase was a drip irrigation system and compost added to the hillside. The hillside was steep and had to use 5 gallon buckets to apply about 90% of the compost.

Laid 1,300 square feet of sod this week. Yard wasn't horrible but weeds were getting hard to manage so client wanted a fresh yard. Throwing sod definitely reminds me of my age. Job was done on Wednesday and I'm still sore.

This hillside is a work in progress. This week we planted 53 plants and trees. Next is getting the weeds under control, adding a few more trees, adding some jute netting along with compost and mulch. Then for the grand finale, we will be turning the dry river beds into a waterfall with a pondless pond at the bottom. This hillside is going to look amazing come next year.

Pictures doesn't do this job justice at all. We spent 28 man hours on this job, filling up a 7'x20' trailer twice with yard debris. The overgrowth was absolutely crazy, nothing could breathe. I spent around 6 hours cutting out suckers and overlapping branches in the lilacs that lined the road to the south. With these types of jobs, the client just has to keep it going. Even only doing fall and spring cleanups will keep a property looking beautiful and healthy.

I was talking with a buddy over the summer about whether I offered financing. After looking into it, our company was not eligible due to time of being in business. Stipulations were length of being in business and the amount of revenue we brought in. At the time we met the revenue, but not time in business. But we meet both now.
