Independence High School update 📣

The structure is up, and the building is nearly closed in. Now the focus is moving inside, where classrooms and hallways are starting to take shape. Rain or shine, this crew keeps it moving.

Shoutout to Billy and Ernesto for keeping the site safe, clean, and organized 👏

A company is only as good as its people, and nowhere is that more true than on a jobsite.

Franken Construction is honored to receive a 2026 Diamond Safety Award from ABC New Mexico.
Franken, President, Yaney, Safety Manager, and Oberbeck, Marketing and BD Director, accepted the award at the Safety Awards Luncheon.

This recognition belongs to every superintendent, tradesperson, and project manager who makes safety a daily priority.

Thank you to New Mexico for recognizing our commitment. We'll keep building a better New Mexico, safely.

No shovels here. ✨ Our team marked the groundbreaking of the ABQ BioPark's new "Dreamlands" with bursts of rainbow color — a preview of the rainbow pathway Meow Wolf designed for the space. Not your average groundbreaking, for not your average project. Kids will soon step into a whole new world to play, learn, and imagine.

We build with our own trades every day, so opening a facility built to train the next generation of them means a little extra. Watch the ribbon cutting for CNM Rio Rancho's Automotive Trades building.

Some projects are about more than square footage.

The ABQ BioPark's Children's Fantasy Garden has been part of Albuquerque childhoods for over two decades, and we're proud to serve as general contractor as it's reimagined for the next generation. 🦒 🦓 🐅

Project Partners: The City of Albuquerque, ABQ BioPark, and Dekker.

A historic building. A new chapter. And more opportunities for New Mexicans. 🎬🏗️

Franken Construction celebrated the grand opening of CNM’s new Film and Media Arts Facility at the historic Albuquerque Rail Yards.

Located inside the 1922 Boiler Shop, this project gives new life to a building that helped shape Albuquerque’s past while creating a space designed to help shape its future. Students will now have access to hands-on education and training in film, visual media, post-production, and other careers supporting New Mexico’s growing creative economy.

Projects like this are only possible through strong partnerships.
We’re grateful to CNM Central New Mexico Community College, the City of Albuquerque, the State of New Mexico, and SMPC Architects industry partners, trade partners, and everyone who helped bring this vision to life. It was an honor to work alongside such a committed team, and we’re thankful for the opportunity to contribute to a project that will have a lasting impact on our community.

At Franken, we’re proud to be part of projects that go beyond the building itself. Projects that preserve pieces of New Mexico’s history, create opportunities for the next generation, and strengthen the communities we call home.

We’re honored to have helped give this remarkable space a new life and excited to see what comes next. 🎥🤝
