Franken Construction is proud to celebrate the grand opening of the RioTECH Transportation Systems Technology Center in Rio Rancho, a 43,800-square-foot facility that will provide CNM and Rio Rancho Public Schools students with hands-on training in automotive, electric vehicle, and diesel technologies.

As a New Mexico company, we are proud to partner on projects that invest in our communities, support education and workforce development, and help prepare the next generation of skilled professionals for careers right here in our state.

We’re grateful to be part of a project that will have an impact far beyond the building itself.

The Lobo Welcome Center is one of UNM’s most historically significant buildings.

The former Naval ROTC building is a 1941 Spanish-Pueblo Revival and the only adobe structure on campus. Our work required honoring that history while integrating the modern spaces and technology a 21st-century welcome center requires.

It was a pleasure working alongside the McClain + Yu team to help bring their vision for this historic space to life.
