Untied Way called to let us know they will have a cooling station set up at New Providence Presbyterian Church if you or anyone you know is without a/c. While you/they are waiting on the repair to happen, this could be a great place to spend that time! I love our community and the way we are in service of our neighbors! That is the American way 🇺🇸

There will be an extreme heatwave coming through this week, with temps reaching over 100 degrees. New Providence Presbyterian Church (703 West Broadway Ave) is opening a cooling shelter between 12-6 pm on Monday, June 29th through Thursday, July 2nd for those without access to air conditioning.

If you're able to donate items, such as fans, electrolytes, cooling towels, etc, donations can be dropped off at the United Way office between 8am-5pm, Mon-Wed, and 8am-12pm on Thursday.
