Ritter Norton was pleased to recently host a enthusiastic group of budding design enthusiasts from the Virginia Tech WAAC's Inside Design summer program. This terrific program gives high school students interested in architecture a taste of both the college experience and what it's like to work in the profession. About 25 kids and faculty visited the firm to learn about our projects, how we work, and to be regaled (or terrified!) with inspirational tales from the staff about the many pleasures and challenges of life as an architect. We love what we do and we were so happy to have a chance to share it with them!

Mount Vernon Rec Center is finally under construction! After multiple years of planning and design, MVCR broke ground this spring and completion is anticipated to be done in 2025! We plan to continue to post updates about the new and improved rec center as it progresses.

Check out this before and after one of our newly finished projects! We transformed an abandoned former preschool building (originally a house) into the new Smith-Kogod Cultural Arts Center at the JCC of NoVA!
