Our company started 38 years ago out of a combination of desperation and serious motivation. In 1977, I married my childhood sweetheart and supported our family working as a painter. Not long after, I decided I would be better off running my own company. Coincidentally, the day I broke the news was the day my wife told me we were expecting our first child. Some may have considered this bad timing, but in fact it was the motivation I needed to make this venture work. I was the painter and she was the bookkeeper. And the two of us made up the team of Williams Professional Painting. Over the past 38 years, the company has grown to over 40 employees. We have a reputation for quality and excellent customer service. We serve Washington DC and Northern Virginia with custom interior and exterior painting for both residential and commercial clients. We also specialize in carpentry and offer sanding & staining services, wood rot repair, design consultations, and drywall & plaster repair.
