We’re proud to help create spaces that bring people together.

Our work at Houghton University transformed the courtyard into a more welcoming, accessible, and functional gathering place for students, faculty, and visitors.

Project highlights include:
✔️ Installation of a new drop-off loop for improved traffic flow
✔️ A new entrance canopy with enhanced ADA accessibility
✔️ A new firepit, creating a welcoming outdoor space for students to gather
✔️ New picnic tables and seating for studying, dining, and connecting
✔️ Updated landscaping to enhance the beauty of the campus

Projects like this are about more than construction, they're about building spaces that strengthen campus life and create lasting value for the entire university community.

🏗️ Project Spotlight: Greene Family Commons – Phase II

Kinley Contractors is proud to have once again partnered with Chautauqua Institution on the transformation of Greene Family Commons, formerly known as Bellinger Hall.

Originally constructed in the late 1970s as a residence hall for students in Chautauqua's renowned Schools of Performing and Visual Arts, the building has welcomed generations of talented artists each summer. As part of Chautauqua Institution's 150 Forward strategic plan, the facility has undergone a remarkable renovation to enhance the experience while expanding its year-round use.

Made possible through the transformational generosity of Craig and Catherine Greene, the extensive improvements included modernized student rooms and bathrooms, air conditioning throughout the building, upgraded dining and kitchen facilities, meeting rooms, and dedicated practice spaces. In 2026, the building was officially renamed Greene Family Commons in recognition of the Greene family's extraordinary support.

We're honored to have been part of preserving the history of this iconic facility while helping prepare it for generations of students, artists, and visitors to come.

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Brandyn Whitacre to Senior Estimator at Kinley Contractors!

Brandyn has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence. Throughout his time at Kinley, he has confidently taken on some of our largest and most complex estimating projects, delivering accurate, competitive estimates while helping position our team for success.

Beyond estimating, Brandyn has been instrumental in the rollout of Procore, playing a key role in developing processes that continue to improve efficiency and collaboration across our organization. His leadership also extends into project management, serving as the lead estimator, and now Project Manager, for the Jamestown CSD Phase II project.

In his new role as Senior Estimator, Brandyn will provide leadership and oversight for our estimating team, helping to develop and mentor staff while continuing to contribute to company initiatives and strategic goals. His knowledge, dedication, and team-first mindset make him an invaluable asset to Kinley Contractors.

"This promotion is well deserved for Brandyn. His attention to detail, planning, and management skills are second to none. His regimented work ethic is contagious for those who have the privilege of working alongside him.
