This was one of the first tables I made. It was made for my parents and it’s always nice to walk into a house and see something you made being used and in the open for everyone haha.

I know I’ve been MIA for the last few years, I moved overseas for a bit but now that I’m back home I have a few projects coming up so stay tuned!

To lay it out though, I am moving to a new house that might be a forever home and want to make a super nice (personal opinion) live edge office table. Not a river table, simply just a table to highlight the beauty of the pieces I have. I’ll try to put built in shelving for filing as I’ll be teaching and having to grade assignments and such.
I’m toying with the idea of making my own legs as well since I have a lathe now but not too sure about my abilities on that yet, so I might buy some hairpin style legs for now since most of my furniture already has that and work out an idea over time, one that won’t wobble and has good rigidity.
Next I’ll be looking at making a custom bed frame for my bedroom, one with no access to underneath. Too bad cats 🐈😾. I’m tired of having to clean up after them from underneath it.
I’ll also be adding a screen on my back porch to make it all year long capable, no mosquitoes or anything 😁🦟.

For the first project, I added some ideas in the photos below.
