Oh boy it’s 10:36-am on a work day and I’m making post looking for work again
Hey guys, I had a huge response from the last post I put up here about the free work that I was donating to people in need, senior citizens, and handicapped people. That offer still stands; please reach out and I'll see when I can get you on the schedule. I cannot donate time to cosmetic things like paint, drywall repair, or incomplete projects, so please keep it to things that affect safety and quality of life. Examples include rotting stairs, handicap ramps, and doors/windows that won't open.
Okay, that being said, I need to get projects on the schedule; I do have availability.
I've been getting a lot of calls from people in the middle of projects , Please call before you start your project.
It's no secret that construction is expensive. I work with customers on the design and materials used to make your budget work with realistic expectations - no empty promises or missed deadlines.
Here's my little background story and DDH's history: It's taken me years to get to this level, and I'm very proud of the work I've been producing; I'm still having a lot of fun doing this too. I am a licensed general contractor and have a PE (personal engineer) who can draw and stamp plans. I can pull permits anywhere in Colorado except Denver. I am also a one-man army; I do 90% of the work myself, from demo to finish. I hire subcontractors who are electricians and plumbers, both master-certified. They deal with state inspectors for their trade.
Personally, I love framing; it's the most satisfying. I now have a bad-ass 4x4 telehandler to handle bigger jobs in the mountains on a slope and complete packages with a skeleton crew. We all know it's hard to find good help. I have a dump trailer that I use at least once a week for miscellaneous things, not just demolition and dump runs; I also use it for bringing materials like rocks to the job site and clearing land. Over the past 7-8 years, I've gotten pretty good with tile and have a fancy tile saw; I've even used it for stone on a patio a couple of times. I grew up in a builder's family and have worked every job on site for other people before starting my own company, from excavating to finish carpentry. I started my own show, Demers Dream Homes, 7 years ago. Since then, I've completed a lot of different projects; please look at my Instagram, where I post pictures. I have my general contractor license, and I've acquired all the tools and equipment to complete mostly anything that comes my way.
