🛠️ Maintenance isn’t just grease and filters. It’s about removing unknowns before peak.

What really trips facilities up isn’t a broken part—it’s the stuff between the parts:
⚙️ Alignment debt – Conveyors that “ran fine last season” drift ⅛–¼" and now chew belts, load drives, and create mystery jams.
🔌 Control drift & naming – VFD params tweaked on the fly, devices mislabeled, bypasses never reversed. It “works”… until 2 a.m. troubleshooting starts.
🛑 Safety logic blind spots – E-stops get tested. Recovery logic doesn’t. That’s why restarts take 20 minutes instead of 2.
📐 As-built creep – Drawings didn’t keep up with field fixes. Lost hours are usually map problems, not mechanical ones.
📦 Spares that aren’t “spare” – Wrong revisions, last unit used on a weekend call, or lead times quietly stretching from 3 days to 3 weeks.
👷 Handoffs – OEMs, integrators, and ops crews all touching the same system… that gap is where most “random” downtime lives.
