Washing roofs is the main service our company provides that sets us apart from other power washing companies. We have knowledge and experience dealing with all types of roofs. Never let anyone use high pressure water on your roof. We apply the wash with a softwash sprayer from the ground. At the pump head it reads 225 psi, but the wash travels through 100 ft of hose and then out a nozzle that can shoot it 20 ft up on to your roof. The psi of the wash hitting your shingles is less than what you get out of the kitchen sink onto a dish. Then we use a pressure washer with an attachment to rinse! It doesn’t mean we are using 3100 psi on your roof. A knowledgeable professional knows how to use the equipment properly. We have a roof water broom modified to rinse specically roofs. The pressure on the shingle is less than 100 psi. The broom allows us to cover 12" - 24" at a time. The wheels are 100% non-marring and we would never be on your roof in high temps that would allow our workers to damage your shingles. Once the wash is sprayed from the ground and kills the algae, it needs to be well rinsed to remove the algae from your roof. Our method dislodges very minimal shingle granules from the roof. We never go against grain of roof, and the less we move and let the "magic roof broom" do it's job the better.
