Just a quick check in.....we have a list. This list has our cleanups, spraying, trimming etc. We work our way through the list, depending on weather and priority. Spraying always comes first this time of year, weather permitting. Remember, just because the sun's shining, doesn't mean the weather is optimal. It may be too windy, or too much rain a few days before, or too little rain to provide certain services. We aren't dragging our feet, we are saving your dollars!! If we don't get back with you, or get to you right a way, please know, we have you on our list. We work hard and try our best to provide quality services to every customer. Please be patient with us. We have to give a huge amount of thanks and gratitude to Preston Whittley and the staff at Wilson Medical Center. This last storm was not a regular snowstorm. It's was a very dangerous storm for our crews, especially the 6 working outside of the equipment for well over 36 hours and in windchills -30 degrees at times. Add in the blowing and drifting snow, that we had to keep removing, almost every hour on the hour to keep the facility open and safe made it very exhausting. There was a total of 9 of us that ended up working this storm and it took every one of us to get it done.
The hospital staff immediately recognize the dangerous conditions we were working in and opened up the facility for us to come in and provided us with food, drinks and to get warmed up around the clock. The amount of concern they showed for our safety means more than we can put in words.

This snow storm is going to turn into an emergency situation. Blowing and drifting snow will make travel impossible at times. We will be working Neodesha area with several loaders and shovel crews. In addition to the snow, we will also be battling dangerously cold temperatures. Please stay safe and if you can, stay home to give plows time to work. This storm will take several days to clear. We have added core aeratoring to our fleet. This machine can do core aeration and planting grass seed at the same time. It has proven to be a valuable asset to making a healthier lawn in so many ways during the fall and spring season, and summer for those warm season turf lawns. Give us a shout if you want to know more about this amazing piece of equipment. I added some information in the pictures. J

This is even more wild then the other lawns. I couldn't water this one fast enough as I had to drag hoses and move sprinklers multiple times a day. I thought I was doing a good job until we got 9 inches of rain. So much new grass came in last week it had to be mowed twice just to tame it down.

The last few weeks, really month, have been crazy. Our oldest daughters family had COVID at the beginning of the month which threw half our family into quarantine, then Joey had an abscessed tooth and the infection swelled his face twice it's normal size (thank goodness for a house call from DOC and injections), our middle daughter, her fiancé and their 7 month old baby are currently fighting COVID, G, our grandson, has picked up a stomach bug and his anxiety about puking has been insane, and Katelyn (our 16 yr old) has been in horrible pain since Wednesday, with around the clock pain meds, and now we are on our way to Wichita so she can get a root canal done. Please pray for all my babies to get better. We are sorry to any customers still waiting on us. I promise we haven't forgotten about you. We will be back at it soon.. Life has just decided to kick us around a bit. Just thought I would reach out so our customers would know. ~H
