Personally, I LOVE the rough cut beams & posts throughout the kitchen/living area we did. I’ll never not like seeing things go from bare drywall to finished, especially with custom touches like this.

In love with this open concept 🤩
Ceiling is NOT my work, but the walls are! I have to admit-I do find the gray trend boring at times-what color isn’t after you see it more often than not!-But I love the way they look with wood work. I’d say I personally prefer them in this type of setting.
