Saw this on another group (the tree pictures). This tree is likely dead due to having been weed-eated on extensively as you can tell by the grooves at the base.

This is just one of many reasons to go with a tree ring or a flower/xeriscape bed around a tree, which we have been doing a ton of lately!

Let us help design your next tree base project!

It’s been a bit confusing for people to plan when to buy sod seeing we don’t have a set date for the raffle to end.

So-we decided regardless of when the raffle ends we will run the sale from now through the last day of August and extend it through the summer!

05/20/2026

Special sale on sod while we are running our raffle, pallets will be $235 and 8 or more $215. This will be until we reach our $1500 goal to donate to the fire department!

05/20/2026

We will also donate $20 for each pallet of sod that is purchased until we reach our $1500 raffle goal so that’ll go on top of the $1500 donation to the Tulia Fire Department.

That $20 will also go towards 2 tickets in our raffle for your choice of pallet of sod, 3 yards of screened topsoil with manure, or 3 yards of red, brown or black mulch delivered between the Amarillo area to Swisher county (Tulia area). If winner chooses pallet of fescue they are also given the opportunity to purchase additional pallets at only $200 per pallet.

Please note that we no longer have a location for pickup. We can only meet at the farm for pre ordered pickups of 4 or more pallets, otherwise sod is by delivery only.

Pallets are on sale through the raffle at $235 each or 8 or more are $215. Delivery special through the end of the raffle is $150 in the Amarillo area no matter the amount of pallets. Outside of the Amarillo area please contact for additional fees.

Here is a chance to get entered in a drawing for your choice of a FREE pallet of Fescue, a 3 yard load of screened topsoil with manure or 3 yards of red, black or brown mulch!!!

These fires lately have been just awful for anyone involved especially our fire departments.

We want to help our local Tulia department who has been busy helping fight fires in Canyon, Happy and Kress for almost the past week who’s had more calls by now this year than they had all of last year.

Tickets to enter are $10 each and our goal is to reach $1500. We have options for cashapp, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, and Apple Pay. Once we reach our goal we will do a drawing.

Those who get at least one ticket will also be given an additional opportunity for an extra ticket if they like this post, comment that you’ve entered, and share to your personal page!

Will deliver for free if in the Tulia to Amarillo area or for a small fee if outside.

Pallets are typically $250 plus at least $175 delivery depending on location so don’t miss out on a chance to WIN! If wanting more than one pallet winners will also be given the option of purchasing additional pallets at only $200 per pallet (must be on the same order). Pallets cover about 450 square feet. OR-get up to 10% off of an install!

All proceeds will go to our local Tulia Fire Department!

A little fescue job we knocked out in Amarillo. This took us a day to complete, prep, taking out the bush, installing metal edging between them and their neighbor and laying the sod.

We often get asked how long it takes us to complete projects and depending on the size of the job and amount of details a few days is often the max amount of time needed with most being 1-2 days.

Another project that turned out really good! This customer had an existing drainage issue from not having proper steps and material covering the ground. She wanted something low maintenance but tied into her existing flower beds that I wish I had before pictures of.

We refreshed her existing river rock and mulch and tied the decomposed granite on top of her other steps.

Every bit of the materials we had to shovel in with a small gate. No pain, no gain! 💪

She also is a graphic designer so she was able to generate a picture of what she wanted on her computer. I think we just about nailed it, what do yall think?
