🚧 Additional Traffic Update- NE 3rd 🚧

Starting tomorrow, our crews will also begin work on NE 3rd Avenue between Ridgemere and Osage.

🚫 All four lanes will be closed during construction.

Traffic will be detoured via Ridgemere → NE 5th Avenue → Osage.

Please follow posted detour signs, slow down in the work zone, and give our crews plenty of room to work safely. We appreciate your patience as we continue making improvements!

🚧 Mirror Street Traffic Update 🚧

The southbound lanes of Mirror Street will be closed through Wednesday morning. During this time, traffic will be one-way only.

On Wednesday morning, our crews will switch to the northbound lanes. At that point, traffic will remain one-way only while work continues.

Please slow down, watch for crews and equipment, and allow a little extra travel time. Thank you for your patience as we continue improving Mirror Street!

Traffic Update – North Mirror Street

North Mirror Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic between Amarillo Boulevard and 15th Avenue.

Through Friday: Southbound traffic will remain open. Northbound traffic will be closed.

Starting Friday: Traffic will switch, and southbound traffic will be closed.

🚧 Please note: Mirror Street will not be open to two-way traffic during this phase of construction.

Please use caution in the work zone, watch for crews and equipment, and allow a little extra travel time. Thank you for your patience as we continue making improvements!

🚧 Traffic Update 🚧

Starting tomorrow, Georgia Street will be fully open to traffic!

Our crews will then begin work on Wolflin Avenue from Western Street to I-40. During this phase of construction, westbound traffic will be closed, and all traffic will be shifted to the eastbound lanes.

Be prepared to adjust your travel times. Traffic control will be in place from June 26th through July 3rd.

Thank you for your patience as we continue making improvements to Amarillo's roadways—one street at a time.
