Happy Holidays from your friends at DHR!
No doubt 2020 will go down in the books as one of the most trying years in our lifetimes. Many have lost loved ones, lost their jobs, their livelihoods and have had to adapt to a completely new way of life. A global pandemic, total lockdowns, wildfires, gradual reopening, more wildfires, more lockdowns, hurricanes, protests, a contested election, more wildfires and at last a glimmer of hope as scientists near the finish line.
A few good things also happened in 2020. For one, golf has had an amazing resurgence as golf courses became one of the few places in the country allowed to open. Drive-in movie theaters made a comeback. People around the country brushed up on their sewing skills, making masks for people who need them most. Sure, we might have gained a little weight, but we rediscovered our love for old hobbies like baking and gardening. Puzzles and board games became cool again. We learned that homeschooling is HARD and finally recognized teachers for the heroes that they are.
With much gratitude and warmest wishes, we hope we can meet again very soon.
