Eco-friendly, full-service landscaping company seeking gardeners to perform fine gardening tasks at residential and commercial sites around the Bay Area. We are Napa based and the majority of our clients are in the bay area,
Responsibilities:
Pruning, trimming, and grooming trees, shrubs, vines, hedges and grasses.
Mowing and general lawn care.
Plant health–ensuring all plants are healthy and thriving including identifying and resolving plant pests and diseases.
W**ding, thinning, and cutting back overgrown plants.
Raking, sweeping and generally ensuring sites look clean and tidy.
Watering and irrigation system maintenance, possibly including small repairs.
At commercial sites removing trash and debris.
Requirements:
Plant knowledge including ability to identify common landscape plants in the Bay Area, proper pruning techniques and common pests and diseases.
Strong work ethic, ability to work hard and fast with high quality performance.
Physical stamina and strength to be outside and on your feet eight hours/day, often in the sun, sometimes in light rain and ability to carry heavy loads including bags of mulch, soil, etc.
Dependability, punctuality, strong attendance.
Sufficient reading and writing skills to keep detailed track of work performed at each site.
Work authorization–NOTE: this is a firm requirement, you must have permission to work in the US.
Clean CDL. Own transportation preferred but not required at this time.
Compensation $15+ hour, DOE
