Position: Underground Pipe Foreman

Job Summary:

Knife River Utah is looking for a self motivated individual who is eager to contribute to the success of our company as an Underground Pipe Foreman.

This position will require out of town travel sometimes for long period of times and will require you to be available to work a variety of shifts including weekends.

We are a drug free work environment requiring pre-employment and random drug testing throughout employment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Successful candidates will meet the following minimum requirements:

*3+ yrs exp with underground utilities

*3+ yrs running a crew efficiently & safely

*Experience running heavy highway construction equipment

*Proven ability to perform manual tasks

*Proven ability to perform and maintain a positive attitude and work communicate effectively to customers and co-workers

*Experience working with computers and entering timecards

Must be hard working, dependable and be able to perform manual labor for approximately 80% of the work shift.

Job Summary:
Knife River is looking for laborers to safely perform duties on construction projects in American Fork, Utah.

Duties may include transferring from one task to another, performing flagging duties as needed and operating small equipment including bobcats, tractors or rollers. Applicants must be able to move from one job site to another. May require travel away from area, and shifts over weekends. Applicants must be able to work in all weather conditions.

We offer a full benefit package which includes 401K, Medical, Dental and Vision after 60 days.

This is an ongoing position opening intended to fulfill needs for laborers throughout the year.

Position: Pipe Layer

Job Summary:
Knife River is looking for hard working pipelayers to perform the following duties:

• Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing.
• Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers.
• Connect pipe pieces and seal joints, using welding equipment, cement, or glue.
• Cover pipes with earth or other materials.
• Cut pipes to required lengths.
• Dig trenches to desired or required depths, by hand or using trenching tools.
• Grade and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand tools
• Install and repair water, storm water & sewer structures and pipe systems.
• Lay out pipe routes, following written instructions or blueprints, and coordinating layouts with supervisors.
• Always work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.
• Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor
