Great review from Taavo... "Can’t recommend Safer Nature Pest Control enough. We had both a rat and squirrel invasion and they not only addressed the problem in a safe and expedient way - they also focused on solving how they got in to avoid future problems. And fixed that as well. They were always available and responsive and very easy to work with. In short - they are exceptional at what they do while also being very customer focused."

DON’T PANIC!! This first fatal case actually happened in 2024. Not to diminish the possibilities of anaphylaxis, but there are likely millions of people bitten by lone star ticks each year, and while the number of people experiencing some AGS symptoms is growing, most people don’t experience severe anaphylaxis, and probably a majority of people with tick bites don’t experience any red meat allergy symptoms at all. But, in non-panic mode, it’s definitely smart to be well informed. Just scan the QR and follow the link to learn more. linktr.ee/tickencounter Two Alpha Gals URI Cooperative Extension Vicky Nguyen

Depending on where you live or play, these are the ticks and the likelihood of an encounter during October. As you can see in the graph, October is DOMINATED by adult stage blacklegged ticks, and they start their active season with a BANG usually after the first week of Oct. And it only gets more intense from there...thru Thanksgiving! So, keep tucking shirts and pant legs, and check regularly. More info to stay TickSafe - https://bit.ly/fallticks
