Definitely my favorite project of ‘24. This stand alone tree house has a loft inside of it as well as a seating area that can be switched from an all seating/sleeping platform to a bench and table configuration. The outside has a 7’x7’ projector screen that can raised up via pulleys for family movie nights.

There was a little bit of everything on this repair job. Some minor framing and sheathing rot had to be addressed before new siding could be put on along with some gutters to control future water run off. I also added on to a small retaining wall so they could extend the patio.

Some new Anderson window installs from earlier in the summer. Whenever possible I prefer to install all new construction windows rather than replacement sashes. No matter how good the new glass is, the only way to truly air and water seal an old window opening is to start from scratch. These windows and trim got stained and polyurethaned to match the original woodwork in the home.

Started the summer with this large deck rehab project. I was able to keep most of the original framing to help keep costs down with some minor replacement and reinforcing and then put all new PT decking with nice black railing hardware and balusters.
