I’m looking for local businesses in Amsterdam & surrounding communities to help me GO GOLD FOR LILY through the end of September!

There is no cost to participate. I will provide:
💛 Gold ribbon donation cutouts
💛 Fundraiser flyers
💛 Engraved keychains to sell
💛 Drop-off & collection of everything

I will personally coordinate pickups & drop-offs with whoever is interested in helping.

This week has been a never-ending work week 😅 but I FINALLY got some new stuff dropped at The Nook & Cranny AND started my section move! 🤗

Still lots of decorating & organizing to do, but the initial move is DONE!

🌺 NEW botanical-infused car diffusers + a hanging scent bar to test them out!

Also stocked: story card ornaments, room & car sprays, candles, pocket hugs, blind books, wax melts + botanical melts, and laser-engraved sarcastic beanies. 😏

What am I doing after 9 PM on this Thursday night? Making more memorial plaques for Lucas Polsinelli’s picnic table.

Why? Because someone decided to remove the original plaque and ruin it.

And quite frankly, I cannot wrap my head around what kind of person sees a memorial plaque, especially one honoring a 12-year-old child who battled pediatric cancer and decides to remove it and destroy it.

People need to do better. Seriously.

Lucas is forever 12. He would have celebrated his 14th birthday this past August. His family has already endured something no family should ever have to endure. They should NOT also have to deal with someone disrespecting and destroying something placed in memory of their child.

Public property or not, there is absolutely NO excuse for this. NONE.

It’s probably a good thing I’m posting from my business page, because I have plenty more I’d like to say. 😠😤

I truly hope this never happens again, but I’m making and sending three replacement plaques so the family has backups because apparently that’s something they now have to worry about, too.

Do better. Leave memorials alone. Have some damn respect.
