We’re ending 2022 with the official close of Imperial Hardware. We want to thank each customer and the community for supporting us for over the past 70’s years. Mike and Loretta are looking forward to this new season of life.

In the near future, we will be sharing information regarding Mike’s continuation of water well services from a new location.

If you’re going to a hardware store first thing on a Saturday morning — or any other morning for that matter — usually, something is wrong.

No hot water, a stove that won’t light, or worse — a toilet that won’t flush…

These are things that cause us to fret, but for 46 years, Mike Horton has built his livelihood on helping people solve life’s little aggravations.

“It’s really about people,” he said.

From his storefront on Leesville’s Third Street, Horton has learned a thing or two about life.

Come December, he’ll shut the doors. It’s not for lack of business, he said, it’s just time.
