Want to know what YOU can do to protect your landscaping from pests? 🌳🐛 We gathered tips from our professionals so you can have it all in one place. Save this post so you can easily find it when you need it!

Tip 1: Spraying Down Plants. A forceful stream of water will help remove spider mites, scale, and aphids. Avoid spraying delicate plants.

Tip 2: Selectively Thin Out Plants. Carefully remove infested branches and leave to prevent further spreading.

Tip 3: Maintaining a Healthy Landscape. Healthy and vigorous plants can better defend themselves from attack. Stressed plants are vulnerable to pests and diseases. Proper watering, adequate sunlight, and proper spacing are key in creating and maintaining a healthy landscape.

PLANT OF THE MONTH 💚 Echeveria agavoides — Also called "Lipstick Echeveria," this beautiful succulent shows off when it’s been happily “stressed.” Its lime green leaves have red edges, giving it the nickname “Lipstick,” but it gets its species name from the Agave-like shape of its thick, triangle-shaped leaves.
