It’s Drinking Water Week. In the Municipality of Anchorage, we are very fortunate to have pristine sources for our water supply. The original water supply for the city is Ship Creek. The Ship Creek Water Treatment Facility continues to help meet the city’s water demand and provides safe, great-tasting water. Water supplied from the Ship Creek facility was just voted Best Tasting Water in Alaska at the recent Alaska Water Wastewater Management Association (AWWMA) conference.
