As we wrap up Mental Health Awareness Month, AGC of Alaska’s Safety Committee partnered with the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention to host Talk Saves Lives: An Introduction to Su***de Prevention in the Construction Industry. 🧡

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this important conversation, and to the AGC Safety Committee and AFSP Alaska Chapter for helping bring this program to our industry. Construction continues to face one of the highest su***de rates of any profession, and creating space for honest conversations, awareness, and support matters.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and AGC of Alaska is proud to partner with the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention - Alaska Chapter for Talk Saves Lives: Construction — a program built specifically for construction professionals and front-line supervisors.

This industry asks a lot of people. Long hours, stress, pressure, isolation — it adds up. This conversation is designed to help our industry better recognize when someone may be struggling and give people the tools to step in, start a conversation, and support one another.
