Sometimes a boost with a DIY project is all someone needs. We were happy to help these customers demo the faux/foam rock fireplace and rebuild the walls to make way for their new stand alone stove.

Alex will be quick to tell you drywall jobs are not something he will take on anymore, but helping customers who want to DIY their own projects right, is something we’re happy to discuss!

On this episode of Side Quest Sunday, we have reimagined our logo and created our first t-shirt design!

As the business has settled (just a tad) and we have been able to lean more into Alex’s gift of intentional tile installation, a logo face lift has been on our minds and today we were finally able to make the magic happen!

We are growing, learning, and leaning into the blessings that come with helping homeowners reimagine their spaces…with integrity, quality, and accountability.

This bay window is the perfect place for a little color pop with tile!

Keeping the base safe from water and making for easy clean up, simple projects like these are quick to do, functional, and bring a new aesthetic into the space.

We love helping our clients reimagined spaces come alive! This shower still needs some drywall love, but our part in this space has been completed. Marbled tile means extra care to ensure a cohesive layout.

Laying out tile prior to mixing mud can really make or break how well the tile install goes. Matching veining on marbled tile is non optional for Alex. When the wall looks like one solid piece of stone, he’s satisfied.

Adding accents to walls can help the flow and aesthetic, but sometimes what works in our minds, doesn’t work in reality. Changes had to be made, but they were made for the better!

Our clients are happy, and we’re thrilled to be part of their reimagined space!

The General Contractor Study Series…

We knew getting licensed was going to take work. We debated trying the handyman route or even just a specialty route, but holding a GC with a residential endorsement means we’ve been able to and are able to work on some really great projects inside our clients homes.

The groundwork to being fully licensed, bonded, and insured is not cheap and had its challenges, but Alex studied, took his required course, tested, retested twice, waited, and coordinated with the state enough to become official.

He might not want to, or be willing to do every job he’s licensed for, but he has reference books for when clients have questions or he needs a refresher.

Not every bathroom needs a full remodel. The three bathrooms in this home just needed some updated flooring…two with radiant heating systems!

It has been a true joy to work with and for these clients as they reimagine their spaces with simple upgrades.
