I wish I had taken more before photos of this deck. We replaced the fascia boards all the way around it as well as new trim pieces around the base of all the posts and then added post caps on top of all the posts. We used our two step chemical wash to restore it to its natural beauty and then used a penetrating oil to stain and seal all the wood. They went with a cedar color stain on it and they were overjoyed with the outcome! This deck is 20 years old and has never been treated before. We absolutely loved being able to restore it and then treat it! With proper maintenance this deck should easily last another 20 years! We just finished restoring this deck today. It needed a really good wash and then we finished it up with a Stain and Seal Experts Cedar. The customer was so happy with the final product! She never thought it would be able to look this good and we were glad to be able to do this for her!
