Yesterday marked the final day of a five month landscape construction internship for our guy Ty.
Ty is headed back to UMass Amherst this fall to continue his degree in Landscape Construction and Contracting at Stockbridge School of Agriculture ,Class of ‘27. Before UMass, he attended Essex North Shore Agriculture & Technical High School, where he trained in the construction program.

Ty brought a positive, jovial attitude to work every single day while gaining hands on experience across the board this spring and summer, from masonry and planting to equipment operation and everything in between. His peers genuinely enjoyed working alongside him.

Ty worked hard, and you could usually tell: he often had the dirtiest uniform on site by the end of the day!

Thanks, Ty, for your hard work, dedication, and great attitude. Good luck at UMass this year. We can’t wait to see what you accomplish.

Another before and after transformation in the Andover Country Club neighborhood.

We replaced an uninspired lawn and vinyl fence with a pool and outdoor lounge spaces designed for everyday resort style living. The pool captures the borrowed view of the second fairway while maintaining privacy from the street, with layered planting defining the spaces.

Five years later, this backyard has become a favorite place for the growing family and especially the grandchildren to gather and enjoy.
