**GC Mow and Wash Is Hiring — Temporary Lawn-Care Worker**
GC Mow and Wash is looking for a dependable temporary worker to assist our lawn-care crew in Angleton and surrounding areas.
**Pay: $15 per hour**
**Primary duties include:**
• Operating a w**d eater for extended periods
• Picking up trash, limbs and other debris
• Loading and unloading equipment
• Blowing off sidewalks, driveways and parking areas
• Assisting the crew wherever needed
• Occasionally operating zero-turn mowers after training and approval
**Requirements:**
• Dependable, punctual and ready to work
• Reliable transportation to the designated meeting location
• Able and willing to work outdoors in extreme Texas heat for a full workday
• Able to walk, bend, lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Able to understand and communicate work and safety instructions in English
• Must wear appropriate work clothes and closed-toe work boots
• Must report to work sober and remain drug- and alcohol-free while working
• Must follow instructions and operate equipment safely
• Lawn-care or commercial-equipment experience is preferred but not required
Because this position involves working at customers’ homes and businesses, applicants must be trustworthy and safe around clients and their property. Applicants with violent offenses, domestic-violence offenses, theft, property-damage offenses or other convictions directly related to the safety and responsibilities of this position will not be considered. Criminal history may be discussed as part of the hiring process.
This is physically demanding outdoor work and may involve long days in very hot and humid conditions. Please do not apply unless you are prepared for this type of work.
